Collin County Community College

Collin County Community College is known affectionately as the Quad C to residents of Collin County. The community college district began offering classes in 1985, growing to provide classes, certificate and degree programs to more than 45,000 students annually.

Quad C supports the diverse population of Collin County.

The colleges of the Quad C serve an ever-expanding population that began booming in the late 80s and early 90s. Collin County is comprised of cities and towns expanding out from the central Dallas corridor including Plano, Wylie, Allen, McKinney, Frisco and more.

Students enrolling from any of these towns will pay low tuition costs of $39 (in-county) to $61 (out-of-county) per credit hour. Collin County high school students may apply to attend college courses while in their junior and senior years. These credits will then be applied towards a degree program of their choice.

Most universities and colleges in the state of Texas will accept a transfer of credits from Collin County Community College. The college catalog features a full range of degree and certificate programs for full time students, returning students and students seeking continuing education.

Quad C offers multiple campuses throughout Collin County as well as Internet classes for core curriculum, electives and certificate programs.
