Academics and Bucks County Community College
The college has three campuses, in addition to online courses, and offers two types of academic programs. In "transfer" programs, the classes are designed to follow the first two years of the same four-year study at a four-year institution as closely as possible. This is in order to allow as many students as possible to pursue a bachelor's degree in their field after completing two years of coursework at Bucks County. Credits are then transferred to a bachelor's degree granting institution.
The second type of program offered at Bucks County Community College is that of occupational degrees. These degrees range from Business to Fine Woodworking; the degree is awarded after four semesters of full-time study.
Student Life
Bucks County offers a wide array of student activities, from intramural sports to 38 student clubs. Student clubs vary greatly in the type of interest they cater to; clubs exist for everything from dancers to anime fans. Student government, a campus newspaper, and even a club for Glass Art enthusiasts are all on offer. In addition to the formal athletics program, there are intramural sports for all students, as well as a state-of-the-art sports facility.
Athletics
Bucks County coaches offer several standard sports, such as baseball, basketball, and soccer. In addition, two equestrian teams (Hunt & Western) are practicing year round. Women's volleyball is another less common option, as well as a coed golf team. Athletes must register for at least 12 credit hours per semester and maintain their GPA in order to ensure continued eligibility.

Notables who attended the school are Anthony Fedorov (a finalist on American Idol), Patrick Murphy (Pennsylvania Congressman), and Steve Capus (president of NBC News).
