Bob Jones University is not just a seminary. It is an accredited, 4-year, Christian Liberal Arts university. The School of Religion for undergraduates and the Bob Jones Seminary for graduate students and doctoral candidates are only two schools within the university as a whole.
About Bob Jones University
The university features five schools and one college for student studies:
- School of Religion
- College of Arts and Science
- School of Business Administration
- School of Education
- School of Fine Arts
The School of Religion is an undergraduate school for students seeking a program to support future ministries. The College of Arts and Sciences provides liberal arts degree programs. The School of Business Administration supports students seeking a career in business and management both in religious and secular activities. Finally the School of Education provides supportive education for students seeking careers as teachers while the School of Fine Arts supports students seeking careers as artists, writers, and much, much more.
In March 2000, the Bob Jones University opened a seminary adjacent to the school's main library. The Seminary school is a graduate program focused on training future ministers to spread the Christian word.
Distance Learning
The college offers distance learning in order to support religious higher education across the United States and around the world. Distance education includes:
- Independent Learning Courses
- Online Courses
- Limited Early Admission Program (LEAP)
- Degree Completion Program (DCP)
- Continuing Education Units (CEU)
Admissions
Students seeking admission to the university should speak to the admission counselors. The school prides itself on the character of its students. Prior to applying for admission, be sure to take the ACT as a prerequisite for application and admission.
